Opalite (Tumbled Crystal)
Opalite is a soft, subtle, and dynamic stone.
It’s an iridescent man-made glass resin which is made up of Dolomite and metal to create an opalescent appearance.
Natural Opalite is a stone that comes from opalized volcanic ash. This rarely happens, but when it does, it can usually be found in areas in Africa and Brazil.
There are also man-made Opalites that are created by opalizing glass to create Opalite’s stunning colors.
Glass is the most popular choice because it’s very similar to what’s produced when volcanic ash cools and hardens.
It’s usually clear or milky, and it comes in yellow, lavender, blue, pink, and green colors.
