My name is Cat Hutchings. Owner and creator of SpotLight Jewelry. The company's journey began back in 2010 when on a whim, I decided to take an entrepreneurship class at college. I was just 23 years old. Ironically, the idea of actually starting my own business had never crossed my mind. As the class continued, I quickly discovered a passion for creating unique handcrafted jewelry pieces that spoke to people in all facets of life that invoked joy and celebrated individualism and diversity. Slowly, that passion turned into a business, and that business has grown into a fire, fueled through empowerment and a love for the entrepreneur spirit in all of us. Our mission is to build confidence and empower others through jewelry and accessories that celebrate individualism, confidence and diversity. For each order placed at SpotLight Jewelry, we donate $1 to female Kiva entrepreneurs around the world to help them grow and expand their businesses. Currently, SpotLight Jewelry can be found in over 60 different countries around the world and has been featured in numerous publications including Harper's Bazaar, Huffington Post, and worn on ABC's The View.
